prashant,
I listened to MSS amma's rendering and find that there are some slight differences in the wordings. The version I heard is as under:
P: ArA amudE arasE Ananda veLLap pErARE mOna perukkE parAparamE
ettikkum tAnAgi en idayattE URi tittikkum Ananda tEnE parAparamE
A: anbai perukki enadAruyirai kakka vanda inba perukkE iRaiyE parAparamE
pArAyO ennai mukham pArtt-orukAl en kavalai tIrAyO vAi tirandu seppAi parAparamE
C: OyadO en kavalai uLLE Ananda veLLam pAyadO ayyA paghalAi parAparamE
eNNAda eNNamellAm eNNi eNNiyE en nenjam puNNAga seidadini pOdum parAparamE
(tisra naDai)
endenda nALumenai piriyAdu enn-uyirAi cintai kuDikoNDa aruL dEvE parAparamE
anbar paNi sheyya ennai ALAkki viTTu viTTAl inba nilai tAnE vandeydum parAparamE

I am giving the meaning in the next post.

P: ArA amudE- arasE- Oh, the king of the Lords, the insatiable nectar*
(or the nectar that never satiates)
Ananda veLLap pErARE-who is the surging river of flooding happiness
mOna perukkE -who is the stream/current of silence,
parAparamE -who is the remote and the proximate

ettikkum tAnAgi- who has spread HIMSELF in all directions
en idayattE URi tittikkum Ananda tEnE parAparamE- who has soaked HIMSELF in my heart and is as sweet as the honey, who is the remote and the proximate

A: anbai perukki- enadAruyirai kAkka vanda inba perukkE iRaiyE parAparamE
Who is the Lord, the current of BLISS, who has expanded HIS love and come to
save my life, who is the remot and the proximate
pArAyO ennai mukham pArtt-orukAl en kavalai tIrAyO vAi tirandu seppAi parAparamE
Oh Lord, won’t YOU look at me, won’t YOU remove my miseries by looking at me,
Will YOU not open your mouth and say, oh Lord, who is the ner and the proximate
C: OyadO en kavalai- will there be no end to my miseries
uLLE Ananda veLLam pAyadO- will not the flood of BLISS flow within me
ayyA paghalAi parAparamE- Oh Lord, who is thenear and the proximate, won’t you tell me
eNNAda eNNamellAm eNNi eNNiyE en nenjam puNNAga seidadini pOdum parAparamE- Oh lord , enough of my hear getting bruised thinking of all the unthinkables
(tisra naDai)
endenda nALumenai piriyAdu enn-uyirAi cintai kuDikoNDa aruL dEvE parAparamE
Oh Lord, who has taken abode in my heart, who is my dear life, who will never leave me
anbar paNi sheyya ennai ALAkki viTTu viTTAl -if YOU leave/let me do service to YOUR devotees
inba nilai tAnE vandeydum parAparamE- the STATE OF BLISS will automatically come to me, oh Lord, who is the remote and the proximate.

*ArA amudE- I am not sure how to translate this; could it be that the LORD is the nectar, drinking any amount of which is never going to satiate us.Likewe say in tamizh 'tigaTTAda amudam'. If my explanation is wrong, Imay be corrected.Thanks.

Punarvasu

Found the name ArAvamudan (presiding deity of SArNgapANi temple of tirukkuDandai - kumbhakonam) translated as "insatiate nectar" in some other place. You are right on target! Also the cologne online Tamil dictionary lists the word "Ara" with meanings of complete / abundant so the opposite "ArA" taken to mean insatiable sounds appropriate.

Good translation.

paghalAi shoud be "pagharai". The word paghar means "to tell" in primitive tamil.

'grastrigal, Thanks. Paghal' is also used; I think there is a rule in Sanskrit which says ' la' can be used in place of 'ra'. Ofcourse this is a tamizh word.

vaTRAda ARu--an everflowing river; so too ARA (da) amudu. The ensuing words (Ananda veLLapErARE) emphasize the meaning.
Another meaning: something which never gets stale or jaded; forever filled with wondrous freshness. A slightly different take from insatiable, I guess.

pagalvAi, pagarvAi both mean say, tell me; meaning the same, there is also pugalvAi (but no pugarvAi!),

pugalvAi is 'utter' where as pagalvAi is 'tell', isn't it? not sure..

VK,
Both mean Solludal (to say, tell). Of course, they have other meanings too. vilai pagardal for example is the seller's cry: veNDaikkAi vISai eTTaNA! Turn the clock back fifty years :)
