I am sure that you already have this part:
AMgikam bhuvanaM yasya - whose (yasya) limbs (AMgikam) are the worlds (bhuvanaM)
vAcikaM sarva vAGmayaM [1] - from whose speech (vAcikaM) every (sarva) language (vAGmayaM) [1] has evolved/whose speech is all languages
AhAryaM candra tArAdi - whose ornaments/adornments (AhAryam) include the moon (candra), the stars (tArA), among others (Adi)
tam namah/numah sAtvikaM Sivam - I offer my salutations (namah/numah) to that (tam) symbol of auspiciousness (Sivam) who is endowed with absolute purity (sAtvikaM)
I have no clue about what follows
[1] G as in k, kh, g, gh, G.

Avnipriya - I am a student of Bharatanatyam and this is the first piece that my Guru teaches. The sloka I believe is from Abhinaya dharpanam. (You will have to forgive me for not having this in the transliterated form)
Angikam bhuvanam yasya
Vachicam sarva vangmayam
Aharyam chandra taradi
tam namaha satvikam shivam.
OM Shri Gurubhyo namaha. Hari-Hi OM
And we follow with a namakasra to Nataraja and to the Guru. After this we start with whatever we are learning.
In Bharatanatyam, the Abinaya is comprised of
-Angikabhinaya
-Vachikabhinaya
-Aharyabhinaya
-Satvikabhinaya
Angikabhinaya : communicating the meaning of the songs using the body, i.e. head, hands, legs, etc. The Bhedas come under Angikabhinaya.
Vachikabhinaya : communicating the story using narrations.
Aharyabhinaya : use of costumes, jewellary, make-up etc.
Satvikabhinaya : expressions of Bhava(moods)
This sloka is dedicated to Lord Nataraja and our way of abhinaya and the explanation that we follow are as follows:
Lord Shiva, whose limbs are the world, whose song and poetry is the essence of all language, Whose costumes is the moon and the stars, we bow to Him the beneveloent one. Salutations to our Guru.
============
Hope this helps. However you mentioned you have obtained Abhinaya Darpanam documents. Is this a soft copy? Would it be possible for you to share them? I have a couple of books on the Abhinaya Darpanam by Nandikesvara, I am always on the look out for more information.
Thanks

Thanks for posting.
When I started this topic, I attached the link that contained a file.
It's not just Angikam shloka in the song
but the rest after Angikam shloka is some verse that I have no clue to find.
I have 2 documents of Abhinaya Darpanam : Manomohan Ghosh (1957) and P.S.R. Appa Rao (1997)
In these,I found the rest that I'm looking for (Bharatakula Bhagya Kalike...)
I learned this item from my teacher but he didn't tell me the meaning of the song.

I am sorry. I cannot seem to see the link to the clipping. Do you want to email it to me perhaps? My email id is: vidy2409@gmail.com
Is the Abhinaya Darpanam : Manomohan Ghosh (1957) book still available? I searched up in Amazon and found the print unavailable. Is the print available in India?
Thanks

I have the Dance Gestures Mirror of expressions( Sanskrit Text with English Translation of Abhinaya darpanam by P. Ramachandrasekhar) This is a Giri Trading publication. If you can email the file, that would be awesome.
I have read/heard about Abhinavabharathi bhashyam by Abhinava Gupta for Natyasastra. And with my search, it leads to this book. The price is pretty prohibitive atleast for me.
Natyasastra of Bharatamuni - 3 Vols. ; Text With Commentatry of Abhinavbharati and English Translation (Hardcover)
http://www.amazon.com/Natyasastra-Bhara ... 918&sr=8-1
I havent seen much of online books.
Thanks Again!
