Disciple of KSK and then sanjay . I find his music very interesting with lot of vigour and aggression. A recent review of his concert with two superstar accompanists varadarajan and srimushnam . He used to write in this forum with his id deepsand, not found much these days.

Mods,
I hate to make identity and name mistakes . His name is sandeep Narayan and not narayanan as i have mentioned few years back. Please change it/

Of late, its surprising that some people deliberately mispronounce beautiful names like Narayanan, Srinivasan as Narayan, Narein, Srinivas etc.
Why So? To pander to the arrogant North Indians whose phonetics is well known to be extremely poor? Indeed baffling!

The name shortening is not only to pander to North India but also for international acceptance. Kamala Hasan became Kamal Hasan, when he moved to Bollywood!
Americans think that their way is the only correct way of writing and pronunciation. When I moved here I was corrected that I had one too many "ra"s in my original last name Sundararajan. After 30+years of being called Sandersan, I too shortened my name in 1990 to Sundara Rajan when I became a US citizen!
Hindi walas mutilate Rama to Ram, Arjuna to Arjun and even Dharma to Dharm. Live and let live.

The worst is when a beautiful name like "Gosakhan" gets mutilated to "Goskhan"

Ok, let's get back on topic. I have listened to Sandeep Narayan recently - a gifted singer with an amazingly agile and ballistic voice. His singing resembles that of his guru Sanjay Subrahmanyan like a chip off the old block. Superb imagination, as well as overall presentation.

Pramod interview is simply wonderful. Perhaps the earliest successful move from LA Lakers to Chennai Super Kings team.
