Dear rasikas,
I cannot thank enough Sri Nageswaran who lives and breathes the spirit of this forum as a great musical listener and "sharer" of the aesthetic enjoyment.
Due to his persistent calls, I at last managed to watch the videos, one of which I have linked to the picture above.

Did you know that
Padma Bhushan N Rajam learnt music from her father and also Prof Musiri Subramania Iyer?
Did you know she plays great Carnatic music even today - she plays Sarasija Nabha sodari and teaches Vallabha Nayakasya to her daughter in that documentary?
That Rajam accompanied MSS in many concerts when she was only 14?
That her daughter Sangeetha Shankar has been nominated for Grammy?
That she had made a wonderful video on Indian music, with excerpts shown in this YT clip? Therein Anu Kapur, musically gifted too, shows how one can laugh in Hanseeraag/taal...
That she teaches voice culture at a Uni?
That Dr Rajam's student Prof Balaji, a close friend or Sri Nageswaran, has invented an instrument which plays like violin, sitar, etc.?
More wonderful than you can imagine, a whole lot of videos of that function..... Start with this one.
Happy week ahead!
