Even though I have no knowledge of Mridangam, I was in a concert in NJ Where he accompanied Aruna Sairam, and I was simply spell bound by his tani avartanam.
I have become his fan.

A very talented mridanga vidhwan. My favourite! There is no one to match him - in his skill and also his personality!

Only guy on earth who drives with his scooter to Chennai Central , dressed in shorts and a Caribbean Top , balancing his mridangam , hops on to a day fast-train to Bangalore , gets down at the other end in a Veshti and Kurtha , takes a cab to some auditorium , gets back to Bangalore Central in the night , picks up his scooter from the Chennai central parking Lot -next morning , comes back home and says , Hi it was another " All in a Half Days work kind of day" :envy:
