I caught this exquisite bhairavi exposition on nAdaswaraam - indescribable beauty for about 10 mins ~9:14 to 9:24 - followed by chEtulAra. So was looking forward to a copy by - who else but Sri TVG - on Sangeethapriya. Unfortunately he seems to have skipped it.
No idea about who the artistes were but whoever it is, they should find good reception and support. So, if any of you know of a recording of that day's program, please do share.
Tangentially, while we talk about the nAdaswaram style of vocal singing and use of nAdaswaram pharases in vocal AlApanai, why isn't the practice of mridangam interludes during Alapanai (a la thavil interludes, in this instance a 30 - 45 secs of thavil interlude was short but sooooooo sweet) being adopted in vocal AlApanais?
