This happened on 9th July in the Grand Hall of Puttaparthi, on the occasion of Gurupurnima.
It is an excellent video and audio recording of a special concert that lasted one hour.
The concert is remarkable for me for several reasons:
1. Two gifted musicians, Charumathy, and Anantha.
2. Students of great gurus.
3. A very melodious concert.
4. Excellent dynamic between the artiste couple, showing what they can do together on the stage.
5. A different kind of music, more focussed on melody than speed and pyrotechnics.
6. An excellent swara exchange in two songs, both Guruleka and Brochevarevarura, highlighting both melody and rhythm combinations.
7. A large and devoted audience.
8. Song List:
- Gambhira Nata?-MallariSong?
- Govardhana Giridhari - Darbari Kanada
- Guruleka - Gowri Manohari
- Brochevarevarura- Khamach
- Misra Yaman Bhajan?
- Gurudeva dayakaro deen jane - Khamaj?
My congratulations and best wishes to the artiste couple.

Thanks. Listened to the chaste and arresting vedic chant also.

Excellent concert. Mallari is a good, novel start.
Fully agree with Sachi's observations and thank him for the link.

Excellent and very melodious concert by the pair.
As Sachi said emphasis is on melody and no gimmicks at all.
