Mukhari RTP is always a lovely choice , keep it going RKM. I have heard this pallavi line once sung by TMK , it is Arunprakash creation.

I feel RKM ticked almost all the boxes.
1. Varnam - eternal winner
2. Bilahari, Kalyanavasanta - crowd pleasers
3. Kambhoji, PS - great Tamil composition
4. Mukhari RTP - heavy fare to please serious connoisseurs
5. PD/Mand, Thiruppavai - Bhakti, Rakti
The fact that Dikshitar or Shyamashastri didn't feature is an excusable offence

Sivaramakrishnan,
In my book the biggest offence is to sing and capitalise on the Trinity compositions constantly, and yet proclaim in blogs and buses that their compositions are not essential to the success of Carnatic music performances!

Sachi,
I've never come across any musician doing thus.
However it's quite commonly opined that a kutcheri exclusively of Tyagaraja kritis would be 'wholesome' and entertaining. (Not the case with any other composer!)

Personally, I think this was one of his better song lists for a concert. Hope he keeps it up (and hope we get a recording).
