The first track of hers that I heard was one in the raag Dhani and I have been hooked on to her music ever since then. I just can't thank Coolkarni-ji enough for having introduced me to her music. What an artist!

K'ji: many thanks for the recording.

Accompanied by Sri. Bharat Kamat on the tabla and by Sri. Arvind Thatte on the Harmonium, Smt. Rajurkar gave a scintillating performance at the Dover Lane Music Festival. She came on stage at ~2:00 am and commenced her recital with Raag Chandrakauns - Baagesri ang (Shuddha Hindolam / Varamu of the CM tradition). A fine choice indeed! The unhurried vistaar and deliberate phrasings made for wonderful listening pleasure. The ashtaang gayaki of her school found sensitive expression in a raagmala composition - Durga devi dayani - that contained at least a dozen ragas (durga, jayjaywavti, bhupali, des, sarasvati, sohini, and lalit among others). At 4:00 am, she concluded her program with an exquisite tappa in kaafi, leaving her audience thirsting for more"¦

Hi is this paragraph from a concert review , if yes i guess the reviewer has mixed up the accompanists.

Dr. Arvind Thatte is the harmonium player and Bharat Kamat is the tabla player

That is perfectly ok. I heard her in chennai a few years back in a private concert. She sang very well. i dont remember the raags though - i guess it was Bihag or Yaman. She did follow it up with Khamaj thumri.
