Carnatica released 6 CD's in the Rama Vaibhavam series in March,2007 in Bangalore during their event Thirivaiyaru in Bangalore. The proceeds from the sales of these CDs will go towards the Vedic school in Hiremagalur(Karnataka) where there is the famous Kodanda Rama temple.The Vedic school is free & open to all irrespective of gender,caste & religion.It is run by Hiremaglur Kannan's father Sri Savyasachi swamiji.
1.Rama Mantrava Japiso-
this album has compositions of dasa kootas rendered by various artists like R.K.Srikantan,R.S.Ramakanth,Priya sisters,Manasi Prasad etc
2.Ramamrutham-
sung by S.Soumya,O.S.Thiagarajan,N.Santhanagopalan,Unnikrishnan,Bombay Jaishree,O.S Arun,Nityashree Mahadevan
3.Rama Bhakti Samrajyam-
sung by Carnatica Brothers K.N.Shashikiran & P.Ganesh
4.Rama Vaibhavam-
sung by artists like Sikkil Gurucharan,Nisha Rajagopal,Master Balamuralikrishna,Mambalam sisters,Gayatri Venkatragavan,R.S Ramakanth & Mahanadi Shobana
5.Rama Rasanubhavam-
sung by legends & doyens of carnatic music like Semmangudi SrinivasaIyer,Alathur brothers,T.Brinda & T.Mukta,Ramnad Krishnan,Ariyakudi Ramanuja Iyengar,Maharajapuram Vishwanatha Iyer,S.Balasubramaniam
6.Pibare Ramarasam-
this album has Rama bhajans & devotional songs sung by Ajit Kadkade,Sanjiv Abhyankar,Aswini Bhide,Vishakahari & Manasi Prasad.

Donations qualify for IT exemption under 80G.

Yes indeed. We have kutcheri reviews in another sub-forum and this is for Album reviews.

sjm, this forum is meant for rasika reviews and not necessarily for direct product announcements/promotions. So if you intend to write your personal review or post a magazine/newspaper review of these CDs, please do so.

My earlier post is a brief review of all the CDs & is to pass on the information that the Vedic school is trying to raise money through the promotion of Indian classical music.

My favourite albums are Rama Mantrava Japiso,Rama Vaibhavam & Rama Bhakti Samrajyam.
