Yes I do have the lyrics (What I managed to transcribe) so please forgive if there are mistakes. I am leaving out all of the solkattu in the poem. Here goes

rAgA: gowLi composition: tanjAvur quartet

Vinayara vEl vAngum perumAl aDiyinai thozhu manamE (I think get the meaning of this line)
kANa (gAna?) mayil Eri kailAsam thannai suzhlala varum iLayavanE tozhuvAr (and this)
tALa vidambara uDaiyavanE kaDal kizhiya (parting the sea? why?) malai muriya (again?) varu murugan
ennai vinaya aruLadu peralAm

Natyapriya - I have a versionof this kauttuvam that is slightly different from both versions posted here and makes more sense to me that either of these:
vinairaRa vEl vANgum perumAn aDiyinai tozhu manamE Oh mind (manamE), please worship (tozhu) the feet (aDiyinai) of the lord (perumAn) who took/accepted (vANgum) a spear (vEl) to destroy (aRa) the consequnces of our deeds (vinai) [1].
vAnam mayil Eri kailAyam tanai suzhala varum iLaiyavanai tozhuvOm Let's worship (tozuvOm) the youngster (iLaiyavanai) [2] who strode across the skies (vAnam) [3] astide (Eri) his peacock (mayil) and circumambulated (suzhala varum) mount kailAS (kayilAyam tanai).
tALa mRtangitamuDaiyavanai [4]
One who bears (tALa) the signs (ankitam uDaiyavanai) of Siva/pArvati (mRtan/mRtANi).
kaDal kizhiya, malai muRiya varum murugan arul pETRa kani adu peralAm Let us obtain (peralAm) the fruit (kani adu) that has been blessed (arul peTRa) by the handsome lord (murugan) who has come (varum) to tear-apart (kizhiya) [5] the sea/ocean (kaDal) and splinter (muRiya) the mountain (malai) [5].

FOOTNOTES
[1] vinai includes both the good (nal) as well as the bad (tI) consequences of our deeds
[2] iLaiyavan - refers to the fact that murugan is the younger (iLaiya) son of Siva-Sakti (ganESa would be mUttavan)
[3] If the word is kAnam and not vAnam, then kAna mayil means a forrest (kAna)-dwelling peacock. A musical (gAna) peacock would be an oxymoron
[4] In the version I heard, the vocalist sings this section as 'tALa mRTangitam uDaiyavanai, vAnam mayilEri kayilAyam...'
[5] See this topic (posts # 2 and 3), for an explanation of 'kaDal kizhiya' and 'malai muRiya'

Thanks a ton rshankar.
The problem with what I had transcribed is that I was going by the pronounciations of the singer and trust me it ain't all that good. Thanks again.
