Oh naTarAjA who dances (naTamADiDum) in cidambaram (citsabhaiyil) along with (uDan) SivakAmi! Oh Lord (ISA) of the golden (kanaka) hall (sabhA) who protects (kAkkum) time (kAlattai) [1], you (nI) are the resident (vAsA) of mount kailAS (kailAsa) who is worshiped (vaNangiDum) by the composer (kRshNadAsan) [2]!
[1] refers to the fact that kaliyug will last as long as Siva continues to dance in the kanakasabha
[2] Madurai Sri Krishnan's mudra - kRshNadAsan, or dAsan kRshNan etc.
