Well, my answer was 'brOva bAramA' ( why did you shave the brow, was that a burden/heavy )

I got the idea for this kaDi as I was passing through a 'Brow Spa', an Indian ladies run place that does eye brow work.

Well, I then looked up, Bru of Sanskrit and Brow are cognates. And 'Puruvam' comes from Sankrit Bru.
Many facial and related parts have a preponderence of such cognates. nAsi/Nose, Danta/Dental, , Bru/Brow

What started as silly humor turned out to be a bit of a learning opportunity.

So many red herrings for a non-Telugu:

The master-lord? (Misheard, probably)
Quick, find the krithi!
(Alone or working together)

The last two lines point to the ragam, albeit in a silly transliteration.

The first four lines, to a famous krithi. In fact, they refer to the first three words of the pallavi.

Combining first of 1 & second of 2 - Ghost and bull would make - beGada -> peye kada (Tamil)!!

And by the way it's Ghost sings at a ball and not bull. Word bull is in the next puzzle which you have already solved.

You are on the right track and very close.
I think from carnatic music context budhdhi means mind and manam or mano is heart. Maname - is heart - manadai - also heart, Manase - heart again - are all used in tamil film songs and at times in krithis also.

PB would have got my first set of clues for varALi. Then I changed them. Fight and lion (ALi, a rarely heard word in our everyday tamizh).

The clue words are--'give up or take on sounds somewhat close to the exact words! Here are two more:
