Just a few, I guess--Ahiri, for instance?
Hamsadhvani, mOhanam and plenty of other lively rAgAs are there, of course.
Lyrics matter too. Positive words and celebratory ones, and romantic lyrics too.
All this, if the guests are sitting down to LISTEN to music in a wedding:(

TRS once mentioned in his LecDem - to avoid some inappropriate lines for Neraval - for e.g. a particular line in SangIta Gnanamu ( mEDailyil solla muDiyAtu - but he did point out with meaning explicitly) especially in Telugu weddings

At a recent wedding reception in Bengaluru, I was pleasantly surprised to see 500 guests listening intently to a fantastic concert by a young Vidushi.arasi wrote: All this, if the guests are sitting down to LISTEN to music in a wedding:(
The bride and groom and a few hosts unassumingly welcomed the guests at the entrance.
The bride's father was in the front row listening to the Kutcheri!
And in a most wonderful gesture the wedding couple would walk up to talk to a few guests without disturbing the concert.
After a long long time I actually saw people listening in a wedding concert. !
