There is a famous one in Sanskrit, composed by Narayana Tirtha:

Are you sure this describes rukmiNi kalyANam? As far as I can understand, this tarangam describes kRshNa sitting on the throne in dvArkA - rukmiNi kalyANa gOpAlam is only one of the descriptors - he is also described as accompanied by 8 queens - ashTa mahishi (rukmiNi, satyabhAmA, jAmbavati et al.). Did I get that all so wrong?Sachi_R wrote: ↑08 Mar 2017, 13:11 There is a famous one in Sanskrit, composed by Narayana Tirtha:

Re: Abhang/bhajans
This tarangam is famously sung at weddings, and in the Narayaneeyam chanting I participated in last Saturday, this song was sung with gusto at the story point of Rukmini Kalyanam. It does mention Krishna's ashtamahishis, but seems to celebrate Rukmini-kalyana-gopala! So the rest is our interpretation.
