Yoga ,a way of Living

Post by satyabalu »

When Sri Sri Ravishankar was addressing the European Parliament a member asked a question that Yoga is a Hindu tradition & mostly people like him (the member of parliament) being Christian find it difficult to accept n adapt to it as it's contrary to their beliefs.
Simple n brilliant reply by Sri Sri Ravishankar.
Firstly Hinduism is a way of living n not a religion.
By eating Chinese food one doesn't become a Chinese or by listening to Beethoven one doesn't become a German.
So if we can appreciate cuisines, music etc. from other countries then why shouldn't accept wisdom & techniques for a stress free living like Yoga which is from India.
