Rakshita Ramesh has been learning the Veena from Vid. J.Yogavandana an “A TOP”Category Artiste of the AIR since the year 2009. Prior to that, she had learnt her basic lessons from her mother Smt.Chithra Ramesh.
She is a recipient of the CCRT Scholarship for Veena since the year 2012 and has won several prizes in concert competitions such as Nadakishorotsva by Nada Brahma Sangeetha Sabha, Mysore, Jyothi Memorial Concert Competition by D. Subbaramaiah Trust, Bangalore in 2014, Prathibakankshi Concert competition organized by Sree Rama Seva Mandali in April 2015 and was also awarded the ‘Promising Young Talent of the Year -2015’ by Kartikeya Gana Sabha, Hyderabad for her performance in their youth music festival.
Recently, she got the first prize in the All India Radio(AIR) Competition in 2016 and has been awarded the B grade by AIR
