What is the raagam for this movie song. I am fascinated with the way it was sung. One more the great works of AR Rahman

Let me stick my neck out, fully realizing I can be totally wrong...
I hear flashes of Mayamalavagowla here and there.

VKR,
I'm not good at this sort of thing, but why not, here's what I seem to hear.
kIravANi? Touches of S.bhairavi?
In CM, however much you venture out to essay a rAgA, you stay within the confines of one.
In film songs, it sounds as though your are skipping 'around' particular rAgAs!
The end result? A manOranjitha flower: you sense whiffs of whatever flower/fruit you can imagine
Kokilam,
mAyAmalava gowLa escapes me
I am not 'with it' when it comes to film music, but whenever I hear some, from rAgA point of view, it reminds me of the childhood thing of our jumping over lines in stepping on squares and rectangles (as in the game of hopscotch). With film songs, they hover over rAgAs and don't land on them in most cases!

Folks, I am hearing the Dhenuka scale, with occasional lower N thrown in.

I am also hearing kiravani scale now. I came to it in a round about manner. I know how Harmonic Minor sounds like ( the middle eastern belly dance vibe is what I associate Harmonic Minor with ) and that scale is same as Kiravani. I hear Harmonic Minor here. And I now know why I thought of MMG since that is one common mistake I make when I focus only on the uttaranga.

How I did this is that I played the scale on a virtuoso keyboard as I listened to the song.
Why Dhenuka? Lower Ri (occasional lower Ni...in which case it becomes Todi)
MMG has lower Ri too, but higher Ga, Ni.
21 Keeravāni S R2 G2 M1 P D1 N3 S S N3 D1 P M1 G2 R2 S
All this shows one thing to me. This song's music matches some notes, but it is NOT a straight forward raga=gamaka match.
