This Todaya Mangalam is one in my margam

Here is my attempt - Rajani can fix errors! The part that is in bolded text seems extraneous to this tODaya mangaLam. Can you please confirm that it does belong, and if it does, can you check on the second word (it sounds more telugu than sanskrit)?

You are welcome! SrISa means husband (ISa) of lakshmI (SrI). I have no clue what heccarik(g)a means. Rajani may be more conversant with it.
I was hoping that you had a vocal rendition to check the lyrics. The lyrics in the naamasankeertanam sites you've posted are very 'tamizhized' (meaning, g and k sounds are used interchangeably), and it is possible that other inaccuracies may have crept in as well. By the way, 'heccarika' in telugu means 'exercising great care and caution' - Sri tyAgarAja uses it very effectively and evocatively in his utsava sampradAya kriti where he exhorts rAma to come very 'carefully' to him ('heccarikaga rA rA hE rAmacandrA'). I think heccarika can also be pronounced as 'hetsarika' in telugu.

An equivalent of the "paraak! paraak!" used in Tamil. Unlike in the Tyagaraja kriti, here I think the "be careful/watch out" is for the onlookers, not the Lord.

It is lOka SharaNya meaning "the refuge of the universe."I dont know if the first line is loka sharanya or loka shaaranya...or loka kaaranya..
The line goes, "kalimAnusha kalushApaha kamanIya sukIrtE" which roughly translates as: "One Who extinguishes the sins of man in the Kali age, Who is the most glorius."KALIMAANUSHA KALUSHAAPAHA KAMANEEYA SUKEERTE
aghabr.nda mOcana = One who removes/eradcates sins committed in the worldARAVINDA LOCANA AGHABRUNDA MOCANA

vEnkaTa word itself means "the sins burn" both in tamizh and samskrita bhasha.
The word "vEm" means 'sins' and the word "kaTam" means 'that which destroys'. So vEnkaTam is the place where our sins burn.
In sanskrit: "sarva pApAni vEm prAhuhu kaTa ityAha uchyatE, tasmAth vEnkaTaSailOyam lOkE vikhyAta kIrtimAn".
In tamizh: "vEm koDum pAvangal yellAm ventiDa seivathAl nal mangaLam porundum sIr vEnkaTamalai Anadu.".

AFAIK, tODayam is a tamizh word that signifies toDakkam (Arambham)/invocation - and as this is an auspicious (mangaLa) offering made at the start of a dance performance (especially in the vazhuvUr style) it is called tODaya-mangaLam. tODaya-mangaLam is also part of the kalAkshEtra repertoire.

Ah! Is it accurate to say that a tODaya mangaLam is sung at the beginning of an event as opposed to a regular mangaLam that is sung at the end of the event?
