I am a devotee of MD: G.Ramanathan.

Staying in Mumbai and doing research on GR is very difficult, I feel so.

Can any one post me here as well as to my email address the list of FILMS whose music have been composed by G.Ramanathan...starting from his first film.

This is the first step.

http://ww.smashits.com/music/tamil/song ... athan.html ( beware, a lot of pop-ups )

or this: http://cinefolks.com/tamil/AudioSongs/m ... anathan+G/

or this: http://www.musicindiaonline.com/music/t ... ctor.1035/

No guarantees on the correctness, of course.

For the complete list of his films, did you search the internet?

Friends:
Kindly help me in identifying all the Tamil and one English film wherin G.Ramanathan has scored music , wholly or partially and yearwise please.

Secondly, can any tell me CORRECTLY the name of the Music Director for the Tamil films: Burma Rani ('45).

I remember I had a Columbia labelled 78 rpm record of an old Tamil movie. The song was:

Maya prabanjam adee thangamey thangam...by T.R.Mahalingam under MD: G.Ramanathan.

The style in this creativity of GR can also be heard in ther popular Hindi film AAN ('52) under Naushad sung by Shamshad Begum: Aag lagi tan-man mein dil ko pada thhaamana, ram jaane kya hoga saiyanji ka saamana..

Kindly post a copy of your reply at sjhhhtm@yahoo.com also
