can anybody post songs from the above mentioned film ..in addition to the song NAI DULHAN, i remember there is a beautiful bhajan by Jaishree,(the title of the song is forgotten).I am also eager to hear the song O'NIRDAYI PREETAM (in bhimpalasi). i think. gobilalitha

yes .thanks. I remember just now. but it has been removed from the list of songs in music indiaonline. DOES NOT FIGURE IN ANY OTHER WBSITE LIKE RAAGA.COM, SMASHITS.COM,HUMMAA.COM. . arasi,can't we not categorise it as one of Lata's best songs.

My! There are so many. Yes, this one is among the most lilting ones. The tuning is excellent too. Who is the music director? Vasanth Desai?
It is the tune which makes it so special, I think. That dragging in nirdayI prItam says it all, giving impact to the lyrics.

.The music director is chitalkarRamachandra(c.ramachandra), who was a great music director in the golden era of hindi film songs. He has several hits to his credit, the best being Anarkali,'yeh zindagi usi ki hai, yet another lovely song by the nightingale..GOBILALITHA

I don't think Chittalkar Ramachandra was around when Stree was made. C.Ramachandra was a master of lively melodies. Interesting, he started his career by tuning the songs for a tamizh film (maNIkkoDi)! His seemingly easy tunes were full of life and with musical intricacies too.

Ragam-talam , thanks for posting these songs. nice , simple melodies.In fact the song ,zindagi zindagi, a godagaadi rhythm seems to be a trendsetter for the later great M.Ds like OPNAYYAR,Naushad in films Nayadaur,Uran khatola and others,the best of the lot being 'maang ke sat tuhhara from NAYADAUR,
