Dr.Bhavani Prakash Rao is a musician of outstanding calibre ,Living in NJ.
I am one of the fortunate people to learn Veena from her .
She has the Rare distinction of being an excellent Vocalist,Flutist, and Vainika.
Her Veena is of course, My favourite.
IMO , The distinct feature of Dr.Bhavani's Veena is the precision of gamakas, the pureness of the raga, and impecable timing and Tala.
One can listen to her Veena, and come out with a feeling of having listened to something so precise, and pure, and very neatly rendered.
