* I thought I can initiate a thread on this subject.

*I find mention of Ashoka &Simsuba trees comes in Ramayana.
* Kadambavana where Ambal residesKadambavana nilaye/vasini.
*Parijatha tarumulavasinam-Anjaneya.
* Mention of piercing the trees come in Mahabharatha.(Uralidaye kattundu..Manikoorparkarul thanthu.-Ambujam Krishna)
*Why not we all think in those lines and share?trees,flowers,Leaves(Pathra)

Try Thyagaraja's Tulasi dalamulache which mentions the Tulasi plant and many flowers
