Dear Rasikas, I could not find any posts on this great maestro from the Dwaram school of violin, other than a couple of passing references. I happened to listen to a few audio clips of his in youtube and was totally bowled over, especially his version of Saint Thyagaraja's Denuka kriti, Teliyaleru Rama and the elegant unfolding of the raga alapanai. Other than maybe SSI, I have never heard such an authentic version. The krithi is in a pensive mood and please note the opening movements in the beginning of the Krithi. Sri Kolanka Venkata Raju's mrudangam flows like a stream, yet unobtrusive!
If anyone could throw some more light on these artists as well as share some non-commercial recordings, that would be really wonderful!
