re. learning panharatna krithis

Post by deepa122000 »

Am looking for kanakana ruchira lessons online
I find that the lessons of Shivkumar esnips in the Charanam part is little different from what has been sung by Neyvelli Santhanagopalan
The Sangathis of Pallavi and Anupallavi also differs

Duduku gala is ok
I have not checked the versions of Jagada nandaka & Endaro

Pls suggest.
If i have to buy a CD lesson for the same, then which artist is a standard one

I do understand that its not a good idea to learn from a digitized format & it should be gurumukha But this is just a beginning to a get hang of things
So pls suggest

There is a CD by R. Vedavalli which is probably a good version to use. Also try the version by Sanjay Subrahmanyan and P. Unnikrishnan.

Thank you for this. I have a doubt. Actually what is your observation on Shivkumar Kalyanaramans esnips He has also given the original like for e.g. in case of Kanakana ruchira, he says it is based on Balamuralis version. Is this fine to start with
