Attended this programme. They have published a book with the saint's life history, notations and meanings of 23 Brahmendra kritis. There was a lec-con. Here is the list of songs. Many tunes were familiar, but many are new. They were sung by Vid. S. Shankar and his students:

The talk was presented by Ms Geeta Ramanand, who informed that the songs had been set to music by Vid. S. Shankar. The actual singing was in a bhajan format.

Oh Rsachi, perhaps you should have opened a separate thread for the (apparently very different) event in Bangalore! I would have attended had I known!

Nonetheless, wonderful to learn of the collaboration between Sri Shankar and Smt Geeta Ramanand, two of my favourite musicians in Bangalore, to illuminate rasikas on Sadashiva Brahmendrar's compositions.

I have enjoyed Sri Adamya Ramanand's mridangam accompaniment, and few months after accompanying senior vaiNika Sri D Balakrishna, here must have been another great musical event for him!
