tillAnA Lyrics and meaning Bombay Sisters

Post by parimalphadke »

I am looking for the lyrics and meaning of the sahityam of this particular tillana.

I think it is in GambhirvANi rAgam .

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJlFR39HPLI

I think the sahityam is in sanskrit , but not able to get the lyrics fully
.
Is the composer T.K Govind Rao?

A small doubt::
Should it not be::
kAraNAdhipati pancaka prAkrti kAraNa prathama mAtrkam?[mAtarkam]

This is the sixth verse of Devi Navaratna Malika of Adi Shankara. You could find the whole work ( starting "haara noopura") here:

http://sanskritdocuments.org/doc_1_index.html

( Choose "Devi" on the list of gods and then proceed to Dasa maha vidya section)
