Agni's "Gurukulam"- Session 2 - 3 Day residential Workshop

Agni Cultural Academy has scheduled its 2nd session of "Gurukulam" project -a 3 day residential camp for Music students. This session is exclusively for upcoming Mrudangam students who are serious in pursiung their career in this art form. The Guru for this session shall be the renowned maestro of the Mullapudi school of Mrudangam, Sri. Mullapudi Sreerama Moorthy.

Date: From 21st to 23rd September 2012

Registrations started. Last date of Registration- 31st August 2012.

Reg. Fee : Rs. 600/- (inclusive of food & accomodation)

About the Guru Sri. Mullapudi Sreerama Moorthy

Sri. Mullapudi Sreerama Moorthy hails from the family of rich lineage of the art of Mrudangam. He was born as the son of the legendry maestro Sri. Mullapudi Lakshman Rao. Sri. Sreerama Moorthy is well-known for his unique style, blended with rich technical and mathematical patterns applied with utmost aesthetic beauties. He decorates one among the top Mrudangam players within the Carnatic Music fraternity. He is a Top Grade artist of All India Radio. He was a servant of the All India Radio as a Staff Artist.
