As a repository of inexhaustible concerts collections you know very well that in a traditional concert thirupugazh is considered as a thukkada which comes,(if it does )as the last but one item.An unconventional music revolutionary like T M K might perhaps give it a higher ranking.This song has an additional point in its favour to attract his attention in as much as it does not have God as its hero and instead of a bhakthi component it talks about a social event hence eligible to be considered as " pure music "
