Very nicely done! The raga is listed as "koMDamalahari". Sounds a bit different from the regular Malahari. May be someone can shed some light on this.sankark wrote: ↑12 Sep 2017, 20:19 features http://www.telugubharati.com/kIrtanalu/ ... ipt=tr:itx. What a glory!

About 9 to 10 years back we had a meet with Lakshman Ragde /Arasi/Arasi's husband Krishan and many more in New Woodlands . This vidushi Ranjani was also there with her dad Sivakumar . I forgot now if she has posted here with her id . Right now after googling i find that she is learning from seetha narayanan and pantula rama - 2 eminent gurus .
Best wishes to Ranjani Sivakumar Siddareddy.

koNDamalahari doesn't really have much to do with malahari.
koNDamalahari:
Ar: S G1 M1 P D1 S
Av: S D1 P M1 G1 R1 S
malahari:
Ar: S R1 M1 P D1 S
Av: S D1 P M1 G3 R1 S
It's kind of like Asaveri and Saveri.

Thanks for bringing the 'hill' rAgA to those of us who knew not of it. I'm assuming the word konDa is from telugu--hill. Better use 'D'. Otherwise, it could mean 'having slayed' in kannaDa! koNDa in tamizh would be the malahari married! Ah, the Tower of Babel!
Coming back to Ranjani (Rajesh, she's Ahiri on Rasikas? Or is it another talented young woman's id?), enjoyed listening to her. RamanAtham bhajEham was a welcome choice. Two excellent gurus and her own fine tuned personality are evident in her singing. She is a good writer too, and I still remember the piece she wrote in her blog a long time ago which she wrote from the UK. The rich imagery I found there certainly is an asset in enhancing her music...

I did google for sari samAna daivamu lEdani. There is a thanjavur sankara iyer krithi in poornachandrika with the above line as anupallavi. May be she sang that .narayara000 wrote: ↑14 Sep 2017, 03:54 6. sari samAna daivamu lEdani - Ar: S R1 M1 P D2 S Av: S D2 P M1 R1 S scale (Raga name?) - Composer? - Deshadi

May be Sari samana is in Keshavapriya. This raga was created by chitraveena Ravikiran. i heard that song just now and I can see it is hovering in the zone of harikambodhi janya , but not very sure . May be ahiri or even ravikiran himself can clarify.narayara000 wrote: ↑14 Sep 2017, 09:15I googled that too,but that's a different song called Paripoorna Chandra

I heard the evaritO (manavati) and with the speed of rendition she kept her voice production so balanced!

There's one more line at the end:
vara khaga turanga karuNAntaraga vadanakamala madanakOTi sundarAnga
An elaborate rendition with AlApana is available here at around 1:08:32:
