does anyone know where to find rare song collection CDS or cassetttes of legendary artistes like GNB, Madurai Mani iyer, TV shankaranarayanan, MDR??
i would preferably like to buy them online to send them as a gift to india.

May not be a very good idea. Better to ask someone you trust in India to buy [it with cash
or with their (Indian Rupee) credit card] and send it. Last time I went to India (in 2004),
whatever I bought with my US credit card was charged 10 % more (something like transaction
fee). Also, there is a big difference between the Indian Rupee price and the US$ (--> Indian
Rupee converted) price.
