I down loaded a nedunuri-JGJ-UKS concert a while ago from sangeetham's postings. Nedunurigaru sings a beautiful slokam in raagamaalika in this concert. He starts by saying " chinna slokam" but sings it for almost 20 mins....and everytime i listen to it....the joy is unexplainable.

Can some one help me with the names of ragas please. i will be very thankful.

And not to forget, sri LGJs replies are really awesome.

Thanks a lot Sri Lakshman! i was particularly fascinated by Valaji. though its one of my favourite ragas, nedunuri garus rendition was so good, i was in a doubt if its something else.

This is from 'padren's' treasure trove of AIR recordings. He is a veritable mine of Nedanuri/Voletti and now pashupathy too! It is the tireless efforts of such folks that preserve for us the fleeting electomagnetic waves of our great CM performers from simply getting lost in the galactic space!
