In today's Kalaimalar - JayaTV,Sri.NSG gave a valid information on the Keerthisthambam installed in honour of the Father of Melakartha scheme in Kumbakonam.It would be helpful to know from this Forum as to where this is exactly located there for being included in the itinerary of places to be covered in our next immediate visit to the place.

Dear Sir,
As far as I know,Sri.Venkatamahi's birth place is on Mutt street,Kumbakonam where they were constructing a hall in his memory.They are trying to construct the first floor.Late Mr.T.S.Gurumurthy of Dabir Middle street was collecting money.Probably you can contact Mr.K.G.Krishnamurthy iyer who is living nearby.The 64 th Acharya of Kamakoti Peetam and 65 the and 68the Acharyas were all belonging to Sri.Govinda Dikshitar's and Venkatamahi's lineagae.
