I attended an excellent concert by Sanjeev Abhayankar yesterday at the Esplanade organised by ENGAGE and supported by SIFAS.

I am not a technical expert on Hindustani music....but really enjoyed what i heard. He started with Bagesri and then went on to a madhukauns piece, then came desh..a marathi abhang...a bhajan and wound up with a sindhubhairavi bhajan. I thought he had packaged a very nice 2.15 hours concert very well.his voice range was phenomenal..On the whole a truly enjoyable concert!
