Hi Everybody,
I just discovered this forum while searching for teachers in Bangalore.
Would anyone be willing to be patient enough to teach a complete beginner? Or could someone recommend such a teacher? Or a more appropriate forum?

I love music, but have never learnt it. I am more familiar with Hindustani, but I don't mind whether I learn Hindustani or Carnatic. I would prefer vocal, but I don't mind if it is an instrument (in fact an instrument might be easier at my age-- though not a huge instrument like the veena or sitar please).

Bangalore distances are huge and traffic is terrible so I'd prefer
a) in the Whitefield area (I work in ITPL): around 6.15-6.30pm weekdays
or
b) in the Airport Rd, Jeevanbheema Nagar, Indiranagar area (I live next door to Manipal Hospital): around 7pm weekdays and/or any time during weekends.

You could reply here or email me directly at aksengupta @gmail.com (remove the space before @)

Thanks and best wishes,
Aditya
