Thanks Ravi and KSSR,
I understand the program went off very well. It was well attended despite being a week day.
Veena Kinhal presented a short guruvandana by rendering three of Raja Rao's compositions.
The speeches were engaging, but a a bit too long (as always?) - resulting in R K P not getting enough time to make it a full fledged concert. I understand R K P presented a ugABhOga he has composed as a tribute to Veena Raja Rao.
I have received lots of pctures of the event but no audio / video yet.

Yes--It is simple and is to the point. No distracting designs and conflicting colors.

If only every single Vidwan of the previous generations had children / relatives , with perseverance and sparkle in their eyes , as the family of Raja Rao ....... The rasika fraternity would have been on cloud nine .... :tmi:
