Required: The Parva Correspondent (Hindustani Music)

Commitment: 6-8 hours per week

The Kalaparva is currently seeking writers for its Music section. The writer will report on Hindustani music related events conducted in his/her city.

Responsibilities:
- Keeping an eye on the goings on in the city and writing previews
- Writing on classical and folk music events performed in the city
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with performers and institutional event organizers

Requirements:
- Passion and interest in promoting Indian arts
- Understanding of Indian classical and folk music
- Writing experience in print and/or digital media
