It would be wonderful if Jaya TV or someone else telecast these concerts as well, complete and unedited (and without MCs!), commercial breaks coming only between songs; and if these broadcasts were then available on YouTube. This will let others, not just the privileged few in Chennai, enjoy them too!

Thank you for taking the lead in an excellent initiative promoting these talented youngsters and finalists who have won awards in the "Idol" program.

There are 11 finalists in all (since Anahita featured in the final 6, both times) and we contacted all of them for this series. Out of the 11, three (Ganesh Karthik, Abhilash, Malavi) are unavailable to perform, for various reasons. We have featured all the others.

Somehow I would have liked to see their concerts as part of other regular series instead of a series dedicated just to this... Don't know exactly why. I just think it would be a more natural assimilation into the performing fraternity

I attended the concerts on Friday.

Aishwarya Sankar has a very rich manodharmam.Her Kalyani alAp was seniors like with fertile imagination and nadhasvara pidis in tharasthAyi GAndhAram.I missed her kedhara GowLa alapana but the kriti Krishna Swamikku sari evvare was very neat.She was bit shaky at places.

Brinda's lakshanam was better in Nannu vidachi in Reethi Gowlai.Her alapanai could have been better.The kriti rendition was excellent.But her Purvi kalyani alapanai was better than Reedhigowlai.ParamapAvanarAma was rendered with the usual niraval @ kanakambhara amd then svarams.

Both the concerts gave an enjoyable listening.
