Watch DD Bharati. Who's this singer?

DD Bharati is telecasting a Malkauns/Hindola medley with two singers, Flute, sitar, mridangam and tabla. This lady is fantastic. Who's she!!?

Like in reportage of a political scandal, they refrained from 'taking' any names! The lady sang Carnatic as well as Hindustani taans. Others looked quite junior compared to her (flute was good too).

Sowmya's effortless singing enhances the beauty of her rendition of hindolam. Thanks for sharing. For sure, Sowmya will turnout to be a great artist to be reckoned with by the Carnatic Music Mecca. Perhaps Aradhana may take the first opportunity to invite her to U.S
