Hi,
Anyone knows anything about him. Have heard two of his compositions - Bharati Bhagawati (Madhyamavati with raga mudra) and Lalite Mampahi Daya (Yadukula Kamboji) and both of them are excellent and in Sanskrit and with a lot of words (like Dikshitar style).
His mudra comes out to be Chengalvaraya. I think he may have been associated with Mysore and Jayachamarendra Wodeyar.
Any information on him will be appreciated very much.

Yes, "cēṅgalvarāya" is the signature found in his compositions. He is also known for composing operas, one of which is prominent is entitled, "sundarēśvara vilāsamu". Other popular compositions of his include rē rē mānasa bhajarē gajānanam in nāṭa, ēmamma vinavē in suraṭi, and iti mañci sudinamamma in sāraṅga. A book containing a little more than a dozen of his compositions with notation was published IINM by the late TS Parthasarathi.
