hi friends..im from malaysia..i started learning veenai 5 yrs ago..but we dont have any music coll here like the one you ll have in india.. i really would kindly appreciate if i could get sample of your notes and also the kind of books you ll use for classes..ill becoming to madras on march..if you could let me know the title of books i would get in from the bookshop there..can i also know how your practical and theory classes go..thank you for your kind co-operation.

I learnt music on one to one basis ( I mean one student and one teacher basis for a long time. However for maodharma aspects I mixed with others for better understanding). I dont know Tamil books. As for telugu ones, You can use Gaana Kalaa bodhini for a while and then U can use special books like Sangeetha Sampradhyaa Pradarshini and stuff. Would like to tell you that U are better off learning things from your guru than straight from a book..
