Concert of Thamarakkadu Govindan Namboodiri

An exclusive concert of Swati Tirunal kritis will be held in Music Academy Kasturi Srinivasan Hall at 6 PM on Friday, 21 June by Thamarakkadu Govindan namboodiri - a musician of repute in Kerala. His concert in Ragasudha Hall last year received rave reviews from the press and serious listeners of music. I did not attend. I heard his concert in Swati Sangeetholsavam in Kuthira Malika, Trivandrum this January which was outstanding. Pure music , no gimmicks, no meandering to mass. His concerts are very rare in Chennai. Request music lovers not to miss this opportunity of hearing him.
