I have been asked to give a musical presentation at a temple

Considering the situation now in the world because of Covid 19
I want to talk on topic of how God cures diseases of his bhakthas and instances where this has been proven

I know below stories / musical references

Muthu thandavar - Aru marundoru - when Lord Siva cured him of snake bite

Also planning to sing Dhanvantari shlokam and Krithis on Dhanvantari bhagawan
Then Sri Vaidyanathar and Thailambaal (Bhajare re chitta)

Naarayaneeyam shlokam

Any other references for other Gods - stories / krithis where God helped to cure devotees illness

Sriman nArAyaNIyam: Bhattadri is cured of his vAta.

Anantarama dIkshitar has his cured - I vaguely remember the story.

We do need to invoke the healing gods more at times like these. The pandemic is limiting our lives and even our stepping out, to boot. Children without schools, colleges closing, many more inconveniences, to say the least. How the world wars crippled the world, and for how long! This shall pass with hope and prayers, and soon enough, I hope...

I have to say that India has taken really good measures to control the spread of the virus.

Arasi Amma - have you composed any song on Dhanvantari bhagawan or Maha Vishnu as Dhanvantari?

Just rememebered there is.a Papanasam Sivan krithi in this theme ,- Paradeivam unai andri undo - pala noikku marunde yen thuyar theerkkum kaarunya - Poorvi kalyani

I do not know of any story associated with this krithi, but in Durusuga, Sri Shyama shastri asks Dharmasamvardhani amma to give him good health always.
There is also a krithi by Sri Pallavi Duraiswami Iyer - Mandugai Konare in Saveri in which he describes that the ultimate medicine can be found in Lord Shiva.

More than one million species have vanished from earth during the past three centuries. The house sparrow is almost extinct because of electro-magnetic radiation from cell phone towers. And here we are using cell phone even while we sleep.

Over ten thousand people are dying everyday in India. Three people died of COVID and we make a hue and cry.

Why should God - if there is one - should ever be bothered about us? It is rather pitiable that we wail and weep seeking intervention of God.

Arunagirinathar sings 'bhava rOga vaidhiyanatha perumALE', and we consider HIM as some MBBS doctor waiting to attend us in his clinic.

Will ever man wake up to the reality?

Sri VGV , we want him to protect us from bhava & bhaviShya rOgam and cure us eventually of bhava (existential) rOgam! I do agree we have partcipated in and party to lot of destructive activities on this bhUmi!
