A very interesting and pleasant after noon. The hall was full with local foreigners seated till end. Excellent concert for 2 hrs 15 mts. As I was late by 10 mts missed the varnam. Her very young smart disciple closely followed and given chance for Niraval and swaram. The young girl though detracted twice yet managed nicely. The main Artiste was seated in a chair may be due to physical discomfort. Veena closely followed every syllable and his Simmendhra Madhyamam was nice. Mirudhangam was good and Thani was nice. I could not understand why young artistes use I pad for lyrics. In general the whole concert was very good. The young disciple has a bright future. In vote of thanks, organizer mentioned that whether Manasa could be able to make up today's concert with her ill health but managed nicely. In general a very good afternoon with a pleasing concert. Wishing the artistes a grand success in years to come.
