Raaga Bairagi Bhairav

A morning beauty, this raga has enthralled me like anything. I listened Jasraj singing this raga.Can anyone throw more light on this raga?I think it is similar to Revathi in carnatic.

Whenever I make an overnight journey by train , i make it a point to pack a bairagi bhairav in my mp3 player.Getting up at 4.30 am or so , sitting by the window with my head phones on, and watching the landscape unravel and Welcome the first rays-- Even the sight of a Villager walking to his fields with his hardworking bullocks , can be such a sombre sight.
agreed - Jasraj gave a wonderful dimension to this raga with his album.
A raga which can break into Mahadeva Shiva Shambho so seamlessly at any point in its rendering- Tumeero Mero sahay and Mahadeva Shiv Shambho- such great samples in this scale

I have heard many hindi film songs in this sweet raaga, but unable to recollect . can anybody help with mentioning some such songs. i am a firm believer in getting an outline of any raaga thro catchy film songs, before attempting toget arohana and avarohana . the sangeeth sarita programme of AIRhas been doing this service for over 20 years, if i remember correct gobilalitha

it is clearly from a CD.
Ofcourse there are techniques to keep recording as you listen.Which has been discussed before.
