I met DKP pATi last month thanks to the generosity of some people close to her. Just being in her presence is 'janma sAphalyam'. I pray every day for her good health and long life. Obeisances to this great lady. No adjective is enough to describe her.

Thanks Cool! While the divya dampati look great, Venkatraman smiles and the moon shines, the deity of Madurai looks somewhat pensive, and more so the man in the brown shirt--like a figure in a dutch painting. He surely looks much better in person:)

Many Many happy returns of the day to Smt. D.K.Pattammal amma. I pray god to bestow on her 100 years of life with all health,peace of mind and wish her to be continuous model for all our musicians.
I have known her for several decades and she is a rare gem and a great lady in every sense of the word not only in music but also in other walks of life. Her treatment of her accompanists is simply superb and highly encouraging. Sri R Iswaran sir., must be congratulated for his strict and disciplined life which has made them what they are today.With pranams to Smt& Sri Iswaran sir.
