====== The Carnatic Music Wiki Project ====== Hi, welcome to Project Carnatic Music. This is an attempt to create a “wiki” reference for Carnatic Music. A wiki, as you know, is an online reference point or resource which can be edited and improved by anyone. You need only to have an interest in making information available to others. It is publicly editable. If you wish to edit, registration and login is necessary, though. Click the “Login” button at the bottom of the page to login/register We request you to do your bit by contributing stuff to the wiki and make it a success. Our vision for it is to make it serve the large carnatic music community as a theoretical reference point on anything concerning Carnatic Music. You can edit to improve the pages or create new pages once you are registered or logged in. It would be better to first gain some familiarity by looking at the sources of existing pages to understand what is what. Dont forget to consult the [[wiki:syntax]] for gaining familiarity about how to edit. The [[playground:playground]] is the right place to test your wiki skills before starting to edit the real pages. Thanks, and happy editing. Please direct all your questions and suggestions about the wiki to the admin at http://www.rasikas.org/viewtopic.php?id=1205 (login to read this forum thread). These are some interesting pages to go through: * [[carnatic music]] * [[composers]] * [[thyagaraja]] * [[thyagaraja kritis]] * [[muthuswamy dikshitar]] * [[purandaradasa]] * [[purandara compositions]] * [[subramania bharathiyar]] * [[syama sastri]] * [[tani aavartanam]]
