I am not a destitute. __Anupallavi__ : I have heard the words of those who are well-versed in vEda and also sanAthana and others (mind born sons of brahmA) that You have no protector. __Charanam__ : Seeing me without a support, the base men of the kali age, said that I am destitute, but, O The Ancient Lord! O Lord praised by Lord Siva – the enemy of demons of tri-pura! O Lord reclining on SESha – the King of serpents! O Lord praised by this tyAgarAja! I am not a destitute. ---- __**Notes**__ __Anupallavi__ : __anAthuDavu__ - this is how it is given in all the books other than that of TKG, wherein it is given as 'anAthuDanu'. In the present context, 'anAthuDavu' is the appropriate word. __Anupallavi__ : __anAthuDavu__ – The Lord being Supreme, there is none above Him; therefore, He is called anAtha. zrI purandara dAsa also has sung a song (yugabhoga) on the same lines ‘ninnanta svAmi’. __Anupallavi__ : __sanAtanula__ – This may also mean the eternal Lords viSNu and Siva, but with reference to the context, it seems that the mind-born sons of brahmA – sana, sanaka, sandanda and sanAtana are meant. ----
