Bestow on me the privilege of being in Your service as a servitor. __Anupallavi__ : O Lord rAma! Bestow on me the privilege of being in Your service as a true servitor who can knock down the six internal enemies beginning with desire kAma (sugar cane archer), conceit etc to the ground by thrashing these. __Charanam__ : A strong armour called horripilation, a royal badge called devotee of SrI rAma, and the divine sword called the name of SrI rAma - O Lord! all these will shine on the person of this tyAgarAja. ---- **Notes** __Anupallavi__ : __tuNTa viNTi vAni modalaina__ – As per telugu dictionary, ‘tuNTa vilukADu’ refers to cupid. This seems to have been slightly modified by SrI tyAgarAja as ‘tuNTa viNTivADu’. Therefore, ‘tuNTa viNTivADu’ should be taken to mean ‘kAma’. Accordingly, the anupallavi would read ‘kAma modalaina madAdula goTTi nEla gUla jEyu nija’. __Anupallavi__ : __goTTi__ – this is how it is given in all the books other than that of TKG, where it is given as __baTTi__. As ‘goTTi’ seems to be appropriate, the same has been adopted. __Charanam__ : the word ending ‘u’ in __rOmancamanu__, __rAma bhaktuDanu__ and __rAma nAmamanu__ are as given in the books of CR, ATK and TSV/AKG. However, in the book of TKG, these are given with ending ‘E’ ----
