‘mangaLa’ means auspicious. A mangaLa is often sung at the end of a music concert. Generally these genre of compositions would be set to rAgas such as suruTi, madhyamAvati, srI, sourAShTra, ghanTa, vasanta etc which are considered as auspicious rAgas.
